Creating mosaic art is simple and fun!

  • The Blue Plate has stunning plaques, mirrors, photo frames, and some fanciful forms to create fun colorful mosaic art.

  • The process is simple. You choose your Tesserae , (the glass and tile pieces that are used to make up your design) design your art on paper then transfer the design gluing the tesserae on to the mosaic form.

  • Let the glue dry for 24 to 48 hours, then finish off your art at home by grouting the tiles. We have very inexpensive grout kits and include complete instructions for grouting at home. Since you finish off the mosaics at home there is NO STUDIO FEE to create mosaic art at the Blue Plate.

  • Prices on mosaic art start at $12 with most forms under $25 , basic tesserae is included in the price. (There are some deluxe stones and tiles that can be added to your mosaics if you choose which cost a little extra about .10 to .25 cents a piece)
